The time has finally come...
When Ian and I got married we rented a darling apartment for a year. Then by God's grace we able to rent a family members house for a year and a half. Next week we get the keys to our very own house! I am excited for so many reasons: A backyard for Aubrie to explore, play and grow. It's DIY dream, begging us for TLC. The outstanding price we're getting. The park 3 blocks down... and somewhere we can call our own - our humble abode.
Our appointment to close is next week, as long as everything goes as planned we should get the keys then! As eager as I am to move right in... it's not quite ready. The renovations will begin immediately, budget permitting. We'll do what we can, when we can, and try our hardest not to rush and be foolish with spending. So the next week and on will be spent saying so-long to the house we've called home for the past year and a half. Time to get packing!
